Reid doing what he does best at the Pensacola Museum of Arts Reception.

Reid danced to "Soulful Strut" mash-up that transformed into an Austin Powers tune at the recent Fred Astaire Spring Dance Showcase.  His partners  (left to right) fellow dancers Kimalee and Natalie stopped for photos with him after the production.  The trio was fantastic as always.  It was a great event that included great dancing and great  fun.

A big Star Wars fan, Reid couldn't pass up the opportunity to take a photo with members of the 501st Legion (Vader's Fist) while singing in Ocala.

For those of you who think this only happens in the Movies - we stopped at a local restaurant to have dinner and one of the restaurant staff came over and asked Reid to sing for the patrons. Naturally he knocked it out of the ballpark.

Reid sang Freddy Mercury's (and Queen's) hit "We will Rock you - We are the Champions" as a guest performer at the Dreamcatcher Vocal  Performance Studios production of "The 80s Show. Reid was his usual awesome self, dressed for the part,  and really brought the house down with his performance.

Thank you Caroline for inviting Reid to be a part of your show.

Reid showing his style as our Renaissance man sang the National Anthem for the Opening Ceremonies then went on to place FIRST in the 50 meter run and SECOND in the softball throw at the Okaloosa County Special Olympics County-wide games at Crestview High School.  BIG SHOUT OUT to PUBLIX for their continuing state-wide  support of Special Olympics.

This was a fun, exciting event. Reid will be putting on a fantastic show with a special guest duet partner. Then he went on to do a few numbers  with the Hashtag Swing band! Thank you MaryAnn for inviting Reid to be a part of your super annual event.

Autism Sings has developed an Autism Awareness program and it is especially designed for schools and students. The program includes  Jo Soria, RN, discussing autism and how it may relate to students, discussing how we can learn to reach out to those who may have various differences,  encouraging students to try new experiences that will help broaden their horizons, and encouraging students to work hard to overcome obstacles.  Included in the program were Reid singing a few relevant songs, and interaction with the students as they sang and danced along  with him. Our multimedia presentation includes PowerPoint slides of Reid overcoming his own obstacles and a short video clip of Reid singing and dancing with the Fred Astaire Studio dancers at the Mattie Kelly Arts Theater. Last school year, the Okaloosa School District Title I Office invited Autism Sings to present our program to four schools and invited us back for the current school year (2017-2018).   Like the previous presentations, this year's program has met with rave reviews from students and teachers.  The goal of our program is to reach a young generation about autism, acceptance, and working hard to realize their dreams. Contact us if you would like to discuss the 45-60 minute program for your school, camp, or event.

Reid at the Praise in the Park at Baker Florida, March 16th.

For recording artist, actor, and performer Reid Soria, Autism Sings is the culmination of years spent overcoming the odds.  Diagnosed with autism at the age of 3, Reid was never expected to be able to communicate or connect with the world around him.  Now 33, Reid has channeled his talents and sheer grit into an unprecedented story of hope.  And in finding his own voice, Reid has found a new voice for autism and is communicating and connecting beyond what was once considered possible.  Follow the story and become a part of the dream.        When words fail, Autism Sings!

Happy April , 2019 !!!

They say all work and no play makes you dull and boring. No chance of that with Reid. When Reid isn't rockin' the stage, traveling to gigs,  going to rehearsals, or doing community service, he's making holes-in-one at the local miniature Golf Course and loving it!

Great friend and big fan Ginger arranged for Reid to attend an Auburn home Game.

Wait for it...Of course, Reid with the Auburn Cheerleaders. Thanks Marley.
