For recording artist, actor, and performer Reid Soria, Autism Sings is the culmination of years spent overcoming the odds.  Diagnosed with autism at the age of 3, Reid was never expected to be able to communicate or connect with the world around him.  Now an adult, Reid has channeled his talents and sheer grit into an unprecedented story of hope.  And in finding his own voice, Reid has found a new voice for autism and is communicating and connecting beyond what was once considered possible.  Follow the story and become a part of the dream.        When words fail, Autism Sings!

Reid performed at the Omega Pepper Festival, Omega, GA. Reid has always been blessed with some pretty fantastic people and experiences throughout his life. Wherever he goes people just gravitate toward him and want to do things for him. Omega was no exception. From the food vendor (Vincent of Cat Daddy BBQ, Tifton, GA) who treated him to his favorite pulled pork to Crystal who gifted him a pair of drumsticks (she's the drummer of the Holy Smoke band who preceded Reid) and a wooden percussion instrument (sorry, don't know what it's called). Also special were the vendors (photo above) who also gifted him with the cutest autism gnome hanging decoration (and an Auburn one as well). They had the sweetest words to share with us. They said that it was such a blessing to see someone with autism "such a success story". Wow, that was a blessing to us...  Special SHOUT OUT to Ms. La Donna Stripling who worked with her festival board to book Reid to sing at the Festival.

Reid performing at the annual Family Cafe at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Orlando, with old friend and big Reid fan (all the way in from Melbourne, FL) Doug Akers.

Reid sang the US National Anthem at the Veteran's Day (Rememberance Day for or UK allies) and God Save the King for our UK friends in attendance. Squadron Leader David Stark commented that for him and many of his UK members, this was the first time they had heard it sung as God Save the King. Most of us have heard it sung as God Save the Queen. The Squadron Commander complimented Reid on his performance and presented him with an impressive F-35 ACURL rotating memento.
